Are you sure you dragged the save file to exactly the same folder on the other computer? For example: DocumentsMy GamesSid Meier's Civilization VISavesSingle. Civ6 doesn't have cloud saves at the moment. This is the answer.

How To:

1. Navigate to: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonSid Meier’s Civilization VIBaseAssetsUIToolTips (this is default, your location may vary if you changed the default install location for Civ 6)

2. Locate and open the PlotToolTip.lua file with notepad

3. ctrl+f and search for ‘pause’ without the quotes

FilesSave

4. Change the decimal value of “local TIME_DEFAULT_PAUSE :number = 1.1” to something faster (eg 0.2 for 200 miliseconds)

5. Save the file, relaunch Civilization 6, and you’re done!

The above instructions are for Windows, I do not know how to do this on Mac OS. If anyone body knows please leave a comment with the instructions below and I’ll edit this description to include the steps for Mac OS as well.
